Janet Olney is a 1990
graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she received a
Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting. After graduating Janet began
showing her work in solo and group shows in the Baltimore area. She
has also participated in group shows in Massachusetts, New York and
Delaware.
In 1994 Janet began pursuing her
career in decorative painting full-time with a Baltimore based faux
finishing company. There she quickly mastered the finishes and
became the Residential Production Manager. In this position she
managed 15 employees and oversaw 3-5 jobsites.
In January of 1999, Janet began
Janet
Olney Decorative Painting LLC. Now in her eighth year of business,
she designs and executes a variety of finishes on residential and
commercial sites and uses local artists to assist on larger projects.
Her clients include home owners, interior designers, architects and
contractors in the Mid-Atlantic region. |
